According to IGN, a source at Microsoft who will remain annoymouse, has told IGN that Microsoft and Bungie are currently planning on bringing the “mythical” Halo 3 out in March 2007, a years time from now. Microsoft of course responded in the usual fashion, declining to comment on rumours and speculation. We will see for sure as i expect a HUGE announcement at this year’s E3.

Worthplaying.com have a set of 6 new screenshots aswell as a fact sheet for the upcoming stunning first person shooter for the PC, ‘Crysis’. ‘Crysis’ uses the extremely impressive CryENGINE 2 from Crytek which was recently on show at the Game Developers Conference. The game also features 32 player online multiplayer, as well as a immersive single player campaign that features AI that “utilise real-world military tactics”. _________________________________________________________________________________________ This game is the next generation of far cry. It looks amazing and gameplay should be sweet with AI that actually acts like real people. It is gonna be a while but the wait will be worth it.

Microsoft and Ubisoft have today released a demo for ‘Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII’, available to download via the Xbox Live Marketplace, the demo is 638.30Mb in size so hurry up and get downloading. The full version of the game will be available in stores this friday. So Ghost, shuey and you other doubters can download the demo so you can see it is definitly worth the purchase.

The 360 version of Tomb Raider Legend will be coming out April 11 and I couldn’t be more pleased. If you aren’t looking forward to the most exciting Tomb Raider title since Tomb Raider 2 that is ok, but no one can say this game does not look beautiful for the Xbox 360. Boasting more than a couple next gen graphical features have truly brought up the visual quality. I can't wait to start solving the puzzles and swinging like a monkey.

In the latest EGM mag we are informed that we may be seeing Halo upon marketplace. Xbox 360 owners will soon be able to buy full Xbox 1 games via Microsoft’s Xbox Live Marketplace. And now I’ve got the juicy scoop on the first game that Bill Gates’ crew will make available. Look for Bungie’s epic first-person shooter Halo on the Marketplace sometime before this summer. In a move that surprises not one single person, Japanese newspaper Nihon Keizai Shimbun has confirmed Sony has delayed the PlayStation 3 in Japan from Spring 2006 until November 2006, stating that the delay is down to copy protection technology related to the Blu-ray players they are including in the PlayStation 3. “Sony Computer Entertainment will delay the release of its PlayStation 3 next-generation video game console until early November because the copy protection technology for the Blu-ray Disc has not been finalized,” ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Too bad sony's story is bullshit. The reason why its not ready is cause they have only been developing it for less than a year now (remember the empty bos at E3) and it's obviosly not finished. The end result is gonna be a rushed system with all kinds of bugs and problems and mark my words the ps3 will not be out in the US until 2007!

Turtle Beach have revealed the first ever Wireless Xbox 360 headset, named the ‘Ear Force X2′, the headset will retail at £49.95 or $99.95 depending on where you live. No word on the release date, although in my opinion that amount for a single headset seems a bit much don’t you think?

Now for more demo delay woes. We were all expecting to a see a GRAW demo on Marketplace last Thursday but as you all now, this never came to fruition. To cover their behinds, Ubisoft representatives have been posting updates on a couple forums to explain the situation. Best case it will be up the 7th, but it might come out after release.” No demo for me, no demo for most of you. Why would you download a demo of a game you already own? It is disappointing that the Demo system has not been working as planned, but I look forward to the day it does.

It appears as if Microsoft has been showing off their newly redesigned Xbox 360 camera at Xfest held in Bellevue, Washington. The camera does work and it is the newly redesigned version and not the older style we had originally viewed. To top this off there were a few new features to add to the list. Of course video chat was among the features presented, but also previewed was the camera’s ability to use facial mapping software from Digimask and create a digital likeness of yourself to use in-game. The final demo included a tank game in which a woman’s face was displayed on a screen inside the tank. It appears as if we shall be seeing this little beauty upon store shelves as of fall. Microsoft and Tecmo have made an auto-update available for Dead or Alive 4, so next time you sign into Xbox Live on DOA4 you will be prompt to download the update as it is mandatory. As far as in know the Update fixes a few glitches, hopefully the Rank glitch and also balances out some character issues. The leaderboards have also been reset and you are given an option as to wether you wish to reset you battle statistics (Matches, Wins, Losses etc.) but you Grade Points will be reset to 1000 (Grade C) as if you hadnt fought online before.

The Xbox 360 will sell more units than even Microsoft had hoped for, according to P.J. McNealy, a Senior Analyst with American Technology Research. In a new report, McNealy predicts that Microsoft will sell between 10 and 12 million consoles by the end of the year. McNealy report Microsoft executives have previously stated their goal to sell 4.5-5.5 million Xbox 360’s by the end of June and can now raise that figure to over 6 million, McNealy forecast. The new estimates by McNealy provide good news for Microsoft, who have received constant criticism over the Xbox 360’s launch and its console shortages. The report, acquired by video gaming site Gamasutra, also notes that while the availability of the Xbox 360 is slowly rising, stores are still having trouble finding stock. Of the 125 retailers surveyed only 26 had the product on shelves and the majority of those with only 1-3 units.
