February 28 Possible PS3 Delay Now OfficialMultiple reports about a probable delay of the PS3 have been cropping up on the net lately. Production problems and blu-ray pricing are couple of reasons among many that have been cited. Of course, the most obvious reason is simply that we have not heard from Sony on their console in a long, long time, so a release within the next three months has become less and less likely.
All the reports have been speculation. We have heard enough speculation to not bother posting it and boring you with the same old news. Finally a Sony spokesperson has admitted to Japanese site Sankei Web that the PS3 could be delayed.
“The highest quality picture is vital to the PS3. There is a possibility of delay [to the launch] if delivery of parts is delayed.”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyone who thought it would actaully come out is an idiot. The blue ray undersuply is just another bulllshit story to cover up the fact that the system is nowhere near done and they will be lucky to have half the number of games than the 360 did at launch day. My prediction is japan christmas 2006, US spring 2007. Which would make it the perfect time for it to release right when the halo movie is coming out and maybe Bill gates was right when he said day and date of ps3 release will coincide with halo 3. February 27 Stranglehold Gameplay TrailerWhat game features acclaimed director John Woo and features “a hard boiled cop who will stop at nothing to see that justice is done”? The upcoming action title Stranglehold, of course.
The latest gameplay trailer shows off that this game should not disappoint. With John Woo at the helm it would be pretty much near impossible to disappoint on the action front. The game looks great, and the fighting looks exciting. Definetely going to keep my eyes out for this one. Check out the trailer at ign. February 25 GRAW Multiplayer Maps Hands-onTeamXbox recently published a Ghost Recon Advanced Warfigher Multiplayer hands-on outlining the mutliplayer aspects of the Xbox 360’s first “killer app”. TeamXbox have come up with the goods again, they’ve posted up the first part of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter’s multiplayer maps with a ton of new screenshots and 720p movies of the maps; Desert Gulch and Fishing Village.
If you had your doubts before reading this article, i’m pretty sure all that doubt will disappear after watching the 720p footage, this game is gorgeous.

Ghost, Shuey, Torment, ca, backdraft and whoever else might see this go check out those multiplayer videos, The game looks great and i love the enemy life indicator so you know when sommeone is almost dead. February 24 Call of Duty 2 Multiplayer UpdateInfinity Ward have posted an update on the Xbox forums, while i believe it’s been a long time coming they’ve finally released details on the highly anticipated multiplayer patch. The main issue being addressed is of course the game lag, but they are also adding alot of other features.

While it’s all good that they are adding this, am i the only one that thinks these should have already been including in the game? Plus GRAW is out in two weeks which will probobly be before this update hits xbox live. February 23 Xbox Live Free Weekends BeginOne of other many great features that Microsoft promised back in the day with the Xbox 360 Live experience, was free weekends. We have had no word until now.
Coming April 1, a 72 hour Verizon Sponsored weekend of free gold gaming will begin. Although there is no word when the next sponsored weekend will begin, this will no doubt become a regular event as more and more people discover the enjoyment of kicking ass over live…or vice-versa. February 22 New Oblivion Content AvailableA load of new Oblivion content has been made available via the Xbox Live marketplace, maybe a sign that the game isn’t too far off now? Anyway, a Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion trailer has been released, available in 720p and 480p, which of course is free.
Oblivion ‘Good’ and ‘Evil’ Gamer Picture packs have been made available, both offering 5 different gamer pictures, both Gamer Picture Packs are priced at 100 Microsoft Points. A Oblivion theme pack has also been made available for download, that will set you back 150 Microsoft Points.
Happy days for Superghost and all Oblivion fans. Rainbow Six 360 Announcement Soon?A countdown featured on Rainbowsixgame.com has sparked rumours that a Rainbow Six game for the Xbox 360 is currently in development and will be announced shortly. The coutdown which is currently at 285 hours “until a major announcement” originally started at 360 hours, get it?
Rainbow Six was one of the most popular series on the Xbox and Xbox Live so it would come as no surprise to see UbiSoft announce a Rainbow Six for the Xbox 360. Hopefully it is better than the piece of crap games on the xbox. February 21 Xbox 360 Camera to be released May 2006Scans taken from an Asian Games magazine have revealed that the Xbox 360 Camera peripheral has been redesigned (once again) and states a release date of May 2006. The scans also shows the ‘Quick Charger’ which we have seen before but seemed to go missing, the magazine also states the Quick Charger as being released in may 2006. February 17 Superman Returns SurfacesSuperman Returns surfaces for the first time. I am intrigued. Boss fights could get very intense, and very exciting I look forward to seeing more.
At this point the game could go either way. It could be something unique like Shadow of Collusus or of course it could be like pretty much every other superhero video game. February 16 Outfit Demo Coming SoonAccording to IGN, a multiplayer demo of the Outfit will be hitting Xbox Live in March. You’ll be able to choose either axis or allies and fight in the Strategic Victory mode. The goal will be to capture certain areas on the map so that you may earn Field Units such as gun imlacements and tanks. I look forward to trying this out, maybe it will change my mind for a purchase. February 15 PlayStation 3 HDD Sold Separately?Sony is already showing their stupidity again.
_________________________________________________________________________________________-
According to a PlayStation 3 Spec Sheet on the PlayStation.com product listing page, the PlayStation 3 hard drive along with a few other memory formats, will all be sold separately. Of course Sony hasn’t “officially” announced wether the hard drive attachment will be sold separately or bundled, but this is the clearest indiciation yet.
__________________________________________________________________________________________
I hope they do sell it seperately it will just make the 399 version not worth it at all. Who's gonna buy a game console for 400 dollars with no hard drive? February 14 Street fighter dated. One of the most anticipated Xbox Live Arcade games has been dated according to SPoNG. Thankfully SPoNG claim ‘credible reports’ have confirmed that Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting Edition will be available via Xbox Live Arcade the week of February 27th. February 13 Rare's next project? The latest and greatest in the rumour this week will certainly be about Rare’s ‘next project’ codenamed Viva Pinata. Word comes from the latest issue of Game Informer and although they have no details at this point Microsoft has trademarked the name and a ton of other merchandising products with the name.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Loose Talk has learned that Rare’s next Xbox 360 project is codenamed Viva Pinata. Although details on the game are scarce at this point, it will be released in conjunction with a cartoon show on television, and Microsoft has trademarked the licensing for everything from shampoos to trading cards. February 12 XBOX 360 Shortages End In “4-6 Weeks”There have been recent reports by many a man that the Xbox 360 shortage is coming to an end as 360’s are appearing in stores. Now, it is official that the shortage will soon be over and any of you unlucky seekers will soon be in the next-gen. Peter Moore, in an interview with Next Generation, explained that although there were component shortages, this is now over.
“Within the next four to six weeks, anybody will be able to walk into a store and buy an Xbox 360.”
Let is hope he sticks to his word. February 11 GRAW demo soonThe release of Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter is due in only one month and I am very anxious to play. Today the developer’s of GRAW released upon their blog at 1up.com a Q&A. Most of the questions were generic but you will find the last one very intriguing.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. Will there be a demo in the Marketplace soon, so we can experience the beauty of this game for ourselves in high-definition?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Yes there is, we are putting something special together as we speak which will be out soon.
I can't wait for this one an advanced look as if i wasnt already going to buy it will still be fun. February 10 Blazing angels is looking good.Multiplayer sports Solo (you versus the world), Co-op and Squadron modes over Live, System Link, or Split-screen, and this is where Angels has a real chance to stand out over Secret Weapons Over Normandy and to give desperate Crimson Skies junkies a new fix. Three Solo game modes, five Co-op, and four Squadron types -- where teams of up to eight pilots compete against each other -- make for what could be a very fulfilling Live experience. We're expecting Angels to leave the carrier and hit the skies in March '06, and between Faces of War and Blazing Angels, it seems like Ubisoft is doing its best to make WWII fun again instead of simply pumping out more bland WWII FPSes into a glutted market. And that's worth flying for. I am definitley getting this one 18 single player missions and a multitude of online is making this look like the game we wanted crimson skies to be.
